SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

CU 1-to-1 Scholarship Instructions for Graduates: 

 

Participate in the One to One mentor program for at least three years
Graduate from high school
Use 1st semester of scholarship within two years of graduation
Use all funds within five years of high school graduation date
 

Scholarship Funds

Scholarship Funds 2023
Each graduate may receive up to $14,000.00 in scholarship funds spread over the course of 8 terms.  After Request the award each semester by using the online request form below.
Payments are as follows and are paid directly to your college account:

First year - Term #1 - $1,000.00, Term #2 - $1,000.00
Second year -  Term #3 - $2,000.00, Term #4 - $2,000.00
Third year - Term #5 - $2,000.00, Term #6 - $2,000.00
Fourth year -  Term #7 - $2,000.00, Term #8 - $2,000.00
For students requesting funds for terms 5, 6, 7, & 8, please attach a 250 - 300 word statement explaining your educational goals and status.  Do you wish to finish a certificate program, a degree program? Hopes for a certain career path?  Please be as specific as possible.

“Term” is defined as an academic term or semester, with no more than two terms being eligible within a 12-month period.

Instructions

Scholarship payments in the eligible amount for the semester being requested only. 
Scholarship payments will include any education related expense billable to the bursar’s office – tuition, books/supplies, university housing, etc. 
Payment will only be made to the student’s bursar’s account. 

 

To qualify for scholarship payment, student must provide CU One-to-One with:

  • Scholarship request form (below)  Once you have filled out the form, you will just need to edit the form for each additional request, changing any relevant information and updating your class schedule/financial statement. 

  • Proof of class registration (copy of class schedule)

  • Student's financial statement for the semester request, showing a balance owed. 

  • For students requesting funds for terms 5, 6, 7, & 8 attach a 250 - 300 word statement explaining
    your educational goals and status.  Do you wish to finish a certificate program, a degree program?  Hopes for a certain career path?  Please be as specific as possible.

  • PLEASE ALLOW TWO WEEKS FOR PROCESSING of PAYMENT

  • Note: The CU One-to-One Scholarship Foundation Board will serve as the final authority over interpretation and implementation of these policies.
