Mentor Training (Part I) Sessions for winter, 2012,
Tuesday, February 7, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Urbana Middle School

OR Thursday, February 9, 11:30-1:30 p.m.
Mellon Administrative Building, Unit 4 Schools

Mentors will begin mentoring in mid-February. Apply now to be sure you can start meeting with your new mentee early in second semester!

Part II Mentor Training

A follow up training for mentors who have participated in the initial training session is held in late February. We go deeper into topics introduced in the first mentor training, introduce the concept of 'strength-based' mentoring and provide time for questions and discussion about mentors' issues & concerns.
